I’ve postponed building my website for a very very long time.

There’s always the old cliche about the “Cobbler’s kids going without shoes…” well, I’m now starting to think that it was purely because the cobbler knew so much about shoes that he could never bring himself to start building the perfect shoes for his children without stopping and thinking about something else that would make them EVEN BETTER!

So I’m trying something very new and unusual for me.  I’m focusing purely on content and letting all code, design and development be handled through third parties.  I’m not going to fret over taking beautastic photos (I’ll post lots of iPhone pics) or about writing custom widgets to handle special formatting for sidebars, etc.  If I can find it for free to download and install from the Interweb, then it’ll go up.

Much like me, the content will cover a broad and pretty disconnected range… if anything gets particularly well-developed, I’ll move it to a custom domain for a little more focus.  Until then, I’ll strive to keep the META info consistent for easy indexing and search and then will focus on posting more frequently.
